The Joint Commission recognized St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, St. David’s South Austin Medical Center and St. David’s Medical Center—which includes St. David’s Georgetown Hospital and Heart Hospital of Austin—as part of The Joint Commission’s 2014 annual report, “America’s Hospitals: Improving Quality and Safety,” for attaining and sustaining excellence in accountability measure performance for heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care.
