Heart & Vascular Services

St. David's HealthCare hospitals were the first, and are currently the only system of hospitals, in Central Texas to receive accreditation as Certified Chest Pain Centers from the Society of Chest Pain Centers, the nation's premier organization focused on improving care for patients with acute coronary syndromes.

Our heart and vascular services have also received national recognition. St. David's South Austin Hospital was named one of the nation's Top 100 Hospitals: for Cardiovascular Care by Solucient in 2005. St. David's Round Rock Medical Center has also received an award from the American Heart Association for their high standards of care for patients hospitalized with coronary artery disease.
