DEXA Bone Densitometry Scans

The most accurate and comprehensive way to test bone density, diagnose osteoporosis and assess for vertebral fractures is the Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) scan. St. David’s HealthCare has the most advanced DEXA scanner available to measure bone density in the hips and spine. In conjunction with DEXA, our Prodigy Advance system uses a direct digital detector for improved clinical accuracy.
