St. David’s Round Rock Medical CenterDeborah Ryle, FACHE, has served as Chief Executive Officer for St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center since 1996, and has been affiliated with St. David’s HealthCare since 1984. Prior to joining the leadership team in Round Rock, Ms. Ryle served as Senior Vice President for St. David’s Rehabilitation Center and St. David’s Pavilion in Austin.
In establishing St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center as a comprehensive health care provider for Williamson County and adjacent areas, Ms. Ryle directed capital improvement projects in excess of $100 million and spearheaded the growth of the medical staff to over 800 physicians representing virtually every medical specialty. An active fundraiser, Ms. Ryle has developed programs to support community nonprofit and governmental agencies. Her efforts within St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center have propelled the hospital to a patient satisfaction ranking within the top 2 percent of all HCA facilities.
Ms. Ryle is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from The University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Trinity University.

Ethics and Compliance Officer
St. David’s Round Rock Medical CenterMr. Hatton, Chief Operating Officer and Ethics and Compliance Officer (ECO) at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, oversees Environmental Services, Security, Food and Nutrition Services (FANS), Facilities Management, Imaging Services, Laboratory, Primary Care Services, Rehabilitation and Cardiac Services.
As ECO, he administers ethics and compliance programming. Mr. Hatton has an extensive background in health care management. Prior to joining the executive team at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, Mr. Hatton most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at Willow Creek Women’s Hospital in Johnson, Arkansas, which ranks first in that state’s number of annual births. At Willow Creek, Mr. Hatton led two construction projects that doubled the hospital’s capacity and created the region’s only Level 3 NICU.
Before relocating to Arkansas, Mr. Hatton spent six years (2000-2006) in hospital operations in the Dallas area. During the first years of his professional career, he gained valuable experience in the financial industry, specifically in the banking and mutual fund sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Chief Financial Officer
St. David’s Round Rock Medical CenterSt. David’s North Austin Medical CenterCindy Sexton serves as Chief Financial Officer for St. David’s North Austin Medical Center and St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center. In each facility, Ms. Sexton oversees Finance, Health Information Management, Materials Management, Information Systems, Patient Account Services, Revenue Integrity and Physician Relations/Business Development.
She has more than 25 years of health care finance experience encompassing hospital and third party payor environments. Ms. Sexton has received accolades for her leadership in many significant projects, including recruitment of major physician groups and substantial budgetary achievements.
Ms. Sexton holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Chief Medical Officer
St. David’s Round Rock Medical CenterDr. David Martin serves as Chief Medical Officer at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, a position he has held since 2007. A board certified general surgeon, Dr. Martin has held a number of administrative positions, most recently serving St. David’s Georgetown Hospital as Vice President of Medical Staff and Chairman of the Department of Surgery.
Prior to establishing his surgical practice in Round Rock, Texas, Dr. Martin gained academic, clinical, and leadership experience with the U.S. armed forces. At the Darnall Army Community Hospital, he served as Chief of the General Surgery Service and Trauma Director following service as a Commander and Staff Surgeon. In 1996-97, Dr. Martin was Deputy Commander of Clinical Service for a Combat Service Hospital in Tuzla, Bosnia.
He received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, and a medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Martin completed his surgical internship and residency training at the Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. He is the recipient of numerous military and scholastic honors, and has published articles in medical journals covering a range of surgical topics.
Chief Nursing Officer
St. David’s Round Rock Medical CenterMs. Ellisor has served as Chief Nursing Officer at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center since 2008. Her background includes more than 25 years of experience in nursing, encompassing both patient care and administrative positions. Prior to joining the executive team at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center, Ms. Ellisor served as Assistant Executive Director at Scott & White.
Ms. Ellisor holds licenses as a Registered Nurse and certifications in Nursing Administration and is a Clinical Nurse Specialist. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Texas Nurses Association.
Ms. Ellisor received her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Texas Women’s University, her master’s degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin, and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Asst. Chief Financial Officer
St. David’s Round Rock Medical CenterLaura Wiess serves as Assistant Chief Financial Officer for St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center. In this role, Laura oversees Finance, Health Information Management, Materials Management, Information Systems, Patient Account Services, and Contract Management. She also serves as co-Chief Staffing Officer with the Chief Financial Officer.
Laura holds a license as Certified Public Accountant. She brings to her position more than 18 years of health care finance experience encompassing hospital and health care auditing environments.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin.
