Heart and Vascular Services

St. David's Round Rock Medical Center is a nationally certified Chest Pain Center, allowing more rapid assessment and treatment for cardiovascular and stroke patients who come to the hospital Emergency Department. For individuals suffering from a heart attack or stroke, every moment is precious. The faster a patient receives treatment, the more heart muscle can be preserved and the better their chance for recovery. Our “door to balloon” times (which measures the speed with which patients suffering a myocardial infarction are treated) are among the best in the United States.

St. David's Round Rock Medical Center has also received the Gold Performance Achievement award from the American Heart Association for their high standards of care for patients hospitalized with coronary artery disease. We are also actively participating in the Studer Service Excellence program to provide the best customer service available.
