At St. David's Medical Center our volunteers are a vital part of our healthcare team and make a lasting difference in our patients’ lives. The St. David's Healthcare Volunteers have been supporting the hospital and the Austin community since 1955. Our mission is “To provide exceptional services and support to our patients, our hospital, and our community.”
Annually, the St. David’s Volunteers award scholarship to student pursuing healthcare related fields. For the 2011-2012 school year, the St. David’s Volunteers awarded $70,000 to 14 students attending Texas colleges and universities.
