Token Info

Our Remote Gateway Token Client VPN (Virtual Private Network), provides connectivity to each assigned individual and requires each person to have a logon identification (ID), password, and token to secure the internet connection and to allow regulatory compliant access to our clinical systems. This allows each individual to gain access from any computer that meets the minimum requirements for connectivity to St. David's HealthCare.

Lower office costs
Less technical requirements
Requires an additional ID, password and token to gain access to the St. David's Healthcare network prior to logging into individual applications.
Establishes a connection to St. David's Healthcare network when you logon and disconnects when you are finished, or disconnects after an extended period of inactivity
Turnaround time to establish access is approximately 10 business days
Currently will not run on Vista

Client VPN Hardware & Software Minimum requirements:

Internet Connectivity

Wired or Wireless Broadband Internet Connectivity
128k or higher speed recommended

Operating System (OS) Supported:

Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4
Windows XP with Service Pack 2
Windows Vista support is under development

Software Drivers or Programs Possibly Required:

Java Runtime Environment (www.java.com)
Windows Internet Explorer 5.5 or above
ScrewDrivers Print Driver (ScrewDrivers4)

Hardware Minimums

At least 256mb
At Least 200mhz Processor but preferred at least 500mhz
At least 200mb free of Hard Drive space (mainly for the Java Runtime Install).
