Austin, Texas — St. David’s HealthCare, which provides care for more Central Texans than any other healthcare system, announced today the opening of St. David’s Heart & Vascular in Kyle located at 4100 Everett Street, Suite 100. St. David’s Heart & Vascular currently has 53 locations across Central Texas and provides access to physicians affiliated with Austin Heart, Cardio Texas, Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia and Texas Heart & Vascular.

“St. David’s HealthCare is committed to bringing comprehensive cardiovascular care closer to home for Kyle residents,” David Huffstutler, president and chief executive officer of St. David’s HealthCare, said. “As we expand our footprint in the Kyle community, it is important we have a pipeline of physicians to deliver high-quality care. St. David’s Heart & Vascular brings together leading physician practices to deliver on this commitment to patient care.”

The new St. David’s Heart & Vascular office will offer physicians affiliated with St. David’s HealthCare including:

St. David’s HealthCare is also in the process of acquiring land in the Kyle area where it will build a full-service, acute care hospital that will include 34 beds, with room for expansion as the community continues to grow. This project will result in an investment of approximately $185 million in the Kyle community.

This 160,000-square-foot facility will offer comprehensive medical care including a 24-hour emergency department, inpatient and outpatient surgery, critical care capabilities, robotic services, and maternity and newborn services. The hospital will create about 200 new full-time jobs.
